Please keep in mind that not all people in the UK have seen season two yet.

So to start the ball rolling, I managed to get my final season two DVD in the post today and I watched the first three episodes. Coup D'Etat - I thought that the beginning was pretty good and they were right to be cautious about Ladon. I loved the bit with Sheppard and McKay banter LOL!! I also like that Ladon was double crossing Cowen then pretending to double cross Sheppard and his team while he was actually doing the first thing. It's a pretty d**n smart way to do it. Me thinks Kolya disappeared because he knew what a little SOB Cowen was, can't wait for Kolya to appear sometime soon! The Genii makes things all the more fun. Michael - I was a little unsure at first, what with him being the main aspect of the show but it worked out pretty well. It makes sense that Beckett would finally want to test out his retrovirus on an actual Wraith and Connor Trinneer made a more than excellent guest star! I particularly enjoyed his scenes with Teyla, she was trying to be polite yet cautious of this man and yup, predictable Ronon going off on one at him. I'm actually surprised the Wraith were willing to take him back considering his appearance, I guess we'll see more of him Inferno - interesting idea but not all that exciting in my opinion. I liked the whole super volcano thing and that it gave McKay something to do, Sheppard doing the Kirk thing again *rolls eyes* but yay for the Orion! Loved McKay's face when John came out with that. It did have some truly tense moments but it wasn't one of the best episodes I've seen.

LOL maybe. With only one more season two episode to watch I have based an opinion on season two, it doesn't strike me as good as the first season. Then again nine times out of then some shows don't even make it past a first season and they always tend to set the pace. A handful of episodes are memorable but some were really slow and predictable. I sound really critical but thats what I get like when I enjoy a show, my overall favourite episode of season two has to The Siege Part III as it tied up most of the loose ends from season one and had all the feel of it. The tension. Also the introduction of the Daedalus was pretty cool and I really like Caldwell The set up of the Ford arc was pretty cool and I think that Rainbow plays Rogue Ford much better than Regular Ford and I think he's way better as a sorta bad guy than he is good. If that makes any sense. And the ending of that episode was just phenomenal! I loved how Sheppard tried to order Ford and the looks between the two as Aiden sat in the jumper, at John's expression when he realised that Ford was truly not going to do as he said. It seems Atlantis is great when all the tension is on!

I've seen season two..and there are some good episodes...not everyone but hey it's not often a series do a whole season with every episodes that are awsome,, I'll take whatever I can get when it comes to Joe,,,he sure make Sheppard more then he would have been, his charisma, funny personality but he can snap in an instant and be the hard trained military that he is, his expressions and so on,,, so season two had thier share of less good episodes,,but I hope they make it up in season 3...

No not me either,,,for Joe is Sheppard and no one can take that part like he does... he just has all the qualities for it... I'm glad they chose him...since I read that there had been talk about having Ben Browder for that part but at the time he was busy with Farscape The Peacemaker Wars.. so I'm glad they found Joe...

I don't think I'd like Ben Browder in Atlantis, I'm not really all that keen on him in SG-1 as it seems with taking on Claudia Black it is like Farscape only on Earth *lol* Joe definitely has all the qualities and he delievers some of the lines brilliantly!
When I was watching Family Portrait on Sunday, Joe said something along the lines of "Saved by the limo" and me and Shelley both agreed that it sounded like a totally Sheppard-esque line!

Oh I remember that *lol* yeah I do think that a part of himself is what he puts into Sheppard...I think you have to do that in order to be able to act out the character to it's fullest... and he does it very well...

Extremely well and we all know David Hewlett does he always says he is practically McKay and one of the biggest geeks ever *lol* As for the major point, finally saw Allies this morning. Allies - the idea of the Wraith wanting to work with the Humans quite frankly, you know something was going to go wrong and that was not Connor Trinneer in the makeup playing Michael, it was sooooo obvious Anyhow moving on, I liked that they didn't just run into it and took caution and yay for the Wraith queen. I love how all of the females look so different and its hard to believe its the same one playing all of them. Loved Beckett and Zelenka in the lab with the scientist "we call it flashing!" And that ending, you knew it was a double cross d**n them!! Where's Sheppard *sob* poor McKay and Ronon!! And to be continued is evil, not as bad as season one's to be continued or the storm's to be continued but still evil!!

Yeah I know what you mean...
I do tend to not really like the words that usually pops up at the end of the season or when they take a break after half..the words To Be Continued...argh *lol* I've seen Allies and I've seen the conclusion to all of that..actually two in season 3...it's a 3 part story,,,so I know what happens... but the thought that came at the ending at Allies..was what in the world happened to Sheppard..how could he just be gone... oh well you'll see what going to happen...
But yeah it's kind of cool how all the female wraith don't look the same,,like say all the guards that has whatever they have right over their faces... it's great how they work the make-up since if they use the same actress for that then you sure can't really tell...

Yeah they do, I definitely know that the red headed caretaker in rising, the queen in lost boys and the hive and the queen at the end of allies are all the same actress. Although I am a little sceptical about the whole going to Earth thing, it seems a little what's the word not predictable but it seems like last years whole "oh the wraith are coming" only last year was better.

I know ,,I guess since they have already attacked Atlantis the next thing was Earth... it's just why know..they have been holding the Wraith off for so long and suddenly the intel how to get to earth is basically served on a platter..oh well time will tell... I've already seen how it goes down,,
