Yeah some people have been making a fuss about how it's starting to be similiar to SG-1 and then they come up with a storyline like this LOL what are they thinking *shakes head*
LOL sounds fun.
Here's hoping.

I never really gotten a feeling it's getting to become SG:2 or something... it still has it's own storylines... I think in a way they might always have something similar to eachother's show... since it has the same foundation,,, but all in all I haven't sat there and thought hey this is just like SG:1... yes I got some feeling to it when I saw Progeny,,, but I guess it's because Milky Way has dealt with replicators before.. I guess the only question is are they just the same replicatorns,, or a more advanced form,, I guess they will show up again on the show... so we'll have to see...
The next one I guess *lol* will some get a feeling to a Buffy episode,,, but I don't think I will since I got at a point so bored with the show I actually never saw the epi witch might have some similar aspect to it... will have to see though if I like next weeks epi,,, as it's a Weir centric epi.... oh well saturday will tell if I like it or not...

ahhh I think I know what you're going on about, there was a buffy episode in season six where Buffy was in a mental asluym, that the one you're going on about? If so that was my own thought but still Weir centric is good.

Yes that was the one I was thinking about... I haven't seen it so atleast I wont be comparing *lol* Well I've never been a huge Weir fan ,,, I mean she is okay but not my favorite... and I don't know I just feel like I know all I need to know about her,,, while there are others I know hardly nothing of after little over 2 seasons... but oh well I'll know after saturday evening if the epi is good enough to watch again... or maybe I'll just watch whatever Sheppard there is,,,well I guess when it comes to this Weir centric epi even that only time will tell if even he can get me to watch it again (depends to what he's up to in the scenes) ... well I'll know soon...

LOL I suppose that's one way to look at it I know what you mean though, on my list of characters Liz seems to be bottom but it's probably because half the time she doesn't get much to do. That could be said for Teyla most of the second season, she seemed to be pushed into the background a little.

Yeah I know... I do hope to see more of Teyla this season... I guess it's that Teyla I don't know that much about and feel like she needs more to do and have more scenes and more told backstory then I feel I need from Liz... I just feel like I already gotten to know about her through all seasons in small pieces,,, I don't know really there are fans that truly are looking forward to this epi when they read the spoilers,,, and I'm not even going to go into that since I don't know what peoples prefrences that are on here is... and just to make it clear in case anyone in here really like Weir ... I don't hate Liz I never have,,,, just never been a favorite of mine,, John and Teyla is,,, and then of course I enjoy McKay and Carson as well for all the funny things they are up too... but I wont go into why I might not like this epi in case what some keeps saying will happen,,,or in more exact term, what they want to happen,,, . but I'll keep an open mind

I watched The Real World and Common Ground too! Watched Common Ground yesterday, I have been waiting for Kolya to come back for sooo long now and I even started writing a fic for it. When I saw that there was an episode like this coming up I was looking forward to it and even though there were more possibilities for Kolya to really piss off Sheppard it had some good qualities. I liked the Wraith feeling like he owed Sheppard for releasing him and was like when it said that the process was reversed then again they couldn't get rid of their lead male that easily lol! It was a good interaction and I felt so sorry for Sheppard each time Kolya decided to have a little fun at his expense, Ronon called him his friend Liz looked like she was about to burst into tears the third time while watching it. Rodney cracked me up when they found John. "Are you kidding me? He looks younger than before!" Plus, Kolya getting away like that. He just has to come back so Shepp can get his revenge for that little stunt he pulled. There are so many possibilities for that and it would be a good insight to see Dark Sheppard. Another thought, what's with all the black clothes in this episode. The only black I didn;t see was Ronon

Now for The Real World, I was a little hesitant of this episode at first. Weir is not my favourite character, actually she is right at the bottom of the list when it comes to the others but it was nice to gain some real insight into her character. Good to see Richard Dean Anderson but it is me or has he put on weight? Not in a bad way but it just seems like it to me. Wise cracking as ever! "It's nice to see a friendly face." "I was going for friendly." Simon was killed, I snorted at that remark after what he did to her in The Intruder but I can understand why she'd be upset. Her mum even had the same hair do as her LOL with the parting and everything. She seemed very close to her dad and I had wondered about the watch. That meeting was hilarious, Invaders from Saturn!! And yay Sedge Nice to find out what actually was going on with her, d**n nanites!! Rodney still managed to get in some funny lines, especially his comment to Beckett about him looking like that when he has a great idea and John just looking at him like wtf? John was great in this too, I knew it was him she was seeing glimpses of throughout the episode and when he broke quarantine to get to her was definitely something he would do. Giving her the strength to fight it so she wasn't alone, I'm glad he was able to be the one to bring her back as it were. It was a nice moment between them at the end, really shows how their friendship has grown. Torri was splendid throughout and the only problem I had is it was a little predictable at times and did have echoes of the episode Normal Again of Buffy The Vampire Slayer season six. Buffy was in a mental institute where she was told she had fabricated the whole thing to cope with problems and that she wasn't the slayer. Only she wasn't in a coma. Apart from that, enjoyable.

Oh yes Common Ground... I was cracking up too about Rodney's comment to John at the end... and the way everyone had their mouths hanging open not believing what they were seeing,,and Rodney shooting that mouse,,oh Sheppard would be so proud,,*NOT* LOL..... oh don't worry from what I know,.Kolya will be back... he is listed at some episode later in the season,,,going to be intresting to see what Sheppard does... Everyones reaction to what was happeing was great... everyone felt helpless seeing their friend having to go through such a thing... I do however wished there had been some scene when they came back to Atlantis,,and maybe John's thoughts afterwards ..oh well...
Real World yes not may favorite character at all...but of course Torri did a great job,,even if I don't like Weir doesn't mean I don't like Torri,,,she was really good,,, yes I figured to that it was John that she was seeing... and him doing what he did in the end ,,it was so like him,,, he really would do anything for his friends... and they have showed they don't give up on him as we saw in Common Ground... yes it was great to see Richard Dean Anderson again,,and hrmm yes maybe he has put on some weight I guess since he doesn't have such a brutal schedule like when he was on SG1.... but he was funny as always... The ending yes it was sweet and showed that John and Elizabeth do have a strong friendship and respect for eachother,,, even so I didn't see anything else then friendship like I know many others have,,,but then again I don't sway that way,,I'm in the other section *lol*
But all in all this season looks promising... looking forward to Phantoms,,since it's been said it might give us some backstory to John,,,, the next one though is a McKay episode...

Common Ground has become a favorite of mine...I watch it on tape ALL the time and just can't get enough of watching how he acts in the episode. He makes you believe that he truly is getting his life sucked out. The first time I saw it I was shocked. But, I enjoy the episode...of course my other favorites are Phantoms and The Return, part 1. It was fun to see the hallucinations of Ronon, Rodney, Carson and Sheppard. At least we got to see some backstory for Sheppard. The Return was likeable but also sad cause the ended up leaving...what did everyone think about how Ronon acted toward Sheppard? I couldn't believe that he picked him up. I wonder if it was in the script or maybe adlibed.

I watch Common Ground a lot too...*lol* heck I even made a video of him just based on that episode... hehe... but of course I watch a whole lot of other epis... I enjoyed Phantoms and The Return part 1 too... Common Ground - Joe did a wonderful job with all the range of emotions in that ... you can truly believe him to be in pain and all when you look at him,,,he is truly wonderful by getting emotions by and many times only with his eyes...so incredible work on that one...
Phantoms - I enjoyed watching him in this one too of course...I love seeing him in charge, the true military in him ... I might have guessed pieces and all what might have happened in Afghanistan but it was great to see it acted out... looking good in desert tan..heck he looks good in it all,,the blue, the black, the desert tans and even the SGC green *lol* I enjoyed seeing a bit of his past and hope to see more in the future...
The Return Part 1 - Great epi..but sad since for them it came to have to say goodbye to their friends... you can tell John has gotten close to his "family" I loved the scene in his quarters.. can't relly tell if the hug from Ronan where he lifted him up was scripted..got the feeling he caught Joe of guard but who know,,he's a great actor *lol* could just be that he played that John was caught of guard since that is hardly what he expected from Ronan,,,loved the head touching scene at the gate room with Teyla..he's come a long way since for a guy that rather don't get to personal with showing emotions he was the one to take the first step there... Seeing him back at SGC...getting on with his life even if he doesn't seem to enjoy doing what he did but in another galaxy... and then disobeyed that order...hrmm wonder if Landry is going to be screaming at him for it if they meet again,,or if Jack gets at him,,, when Landry showed up on the screen and right before Sheppard cut the transmission off the look on his face was for me that he had been down this road before...even though I feel that he has changed in a way there too since when in Letters From Pegasus he says to Teyla you can only fight the battles you can win,,, he hardly did that in Afghanistan so now he maybe will be a little more careful but when he feels so strongly as he do for Atlantis and his friends and to not leave their own behind he is willing to put everything at risk again... but that's my opinion...
Can't wait to see The Return part 2...
