I was sceptical to Atlantis but my brother had gotten season 1 on DVD and I borrowed it...and I only had to see and hear Sheppard's first comments in Rising and I was hooked... *lol*

That's a hell of a way to get hooked I was the same as you, with SG1 I thought that maybe a spin-off would be uber bad but it turned out pretty good. Well obviously as I am still watching lol

I have to agree...I didn't think it might be that good,,since there is so many times that a spin-off is nothing good that comes of it,,but my brother talked and talked about how good it was,,so I just had to watch,,I could hardly get enough after Rising,,and I've seen several episodes so many times,,,I know a large portion of Sheppard's lines in my head *lol*

yay I'm not alone, I am like that with some of the best lines like the one in my signature I can just come out with it work for work and scarily doing the voice *lmfao* I think what made it really good was the inclusion of McKay over from SG-1 and Sheppard. Those two together make for excellent viewing!

yeah that are really fun to see...they truly have fun both David and Joe...I remember a behind the scene stuff or something,,,when joe said he and David could keep up doing stupid stuff right up until the say action,,,*lol* it's great to see the cast getting along so great together... I love the verbal banter..

It seems like they all have fun, was watching a profile on Paul McGillion with Rachel Lutrell trying to conduct an interview but Paul and David were beating each other up and running past the camera which distracted her. If it's a good atmosphere on set, the more likely they are to produce a great show!
And Joe is soo nice that Jason who plays Ronon had no where to stay during the first half of filming so Joe put him up in his basement. How nice is he?!

Even though they have hard workingdays they don't seems to complain,,, But I think not only in normal job but in entertainment you should be so lucky to be on something that is well done and has a large fanbase all over the world...

That much is true, entertainment is a real cut throat business so when you're onto something big you tend not to complain. Plus it is a great atmosphere so I think that helps that you are eager to go into work not all "man I have to go into work today and it sucks." LOL!

Well I have a harder time at my work...work for a supermarket ,,the only real fun I have at work is when I got the job to take care of the computer system ,,dealing with the prices and also the website,,whenever I get the time to look into that and put some work into it..so no mine is not that great to work..basically just because I have to so I can have an income..

Yea I was watching my season one DVD of Atlantis and just laughed at the way the whole cast acted. They acted just like kids and they were just enjoyable. Of course when you have Peter DeLuise around you...you know it's going to be a VERY enjoyable day. My mom has seasons 1 - 8 of SG1 and I would watch the special features and see how funny they acted and even the commentaries are just laughable. And whenever the others talk about Joe I just in a commentary it's even more funnier.
I understand where you're coming from. My job is a little different...I work for Hallmark (the cards and gifts store) and I have to say this is my 1st real job that I have a LOT of fun at. My co-workers and I have sooo much fun that when there are no customers and we have the music on...we'll sing and dance around and just have a LOT of fun. I act like a kid as much as everyone else in a job whether it's entertainment or not.
